BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH
Leadership
Since Pastor Wayne Golden’s retirement in the spring of 2025, the leadership and deacons of Bethlehem Baptist Church have faithfully shepherded the congregation and continued serving the Round O community. During the search for the next long‑term pastor, the Lord connected the church with Pastor Donnie Reynolds. Both Pastor Donnie and the church leadership sensed God’s clear leading in bringing them together for this season of ministry.
Interim Pastor
Donnie and his wife, Jen, have served the Lord together since 2003 and currently live in Huger, SC with their five children. Donnie began ministry as the Single Adult Pastor at Capital Baptist Church in Annandale, VA, before he and Jen planted Centerpoint Church in Annapolis, MD, later launching a second campus on Kent Island. Over nearly two decades, they witnessed God’s abundant faithfulness as He grew both congregations—and their family—beyond what they could have imagined.
In 2021, after 18 years of full‑time ministry, the Reynolds family moved to Mount Pleasant, SC for a season of sabbatical from full time vocational ministry and to focus on the needs and development of their children: Maddie (20), Caedon (18), Makenna (15), Zachery (11), and Donovan (8).
Jen has spent most of her 23‑year nursing career in ICU and Pediatric ER care and currently serves in Charleston County elementary schools. Donnie now works as the Real Estate Manager for Charleston County. Both earned their Bachelor’s degrees from Pensacola Christian College, and Donnie completed his Master’s at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also served with the North American Mission Board as Director of Church Planting for Central and Western Massachusetts. Donnie continues to lead Love Gives Adoption, a nonprofit ministry started by Centerpoint Church, which empowers churches support adopting families (www.love-gives.org).
Above all, Donnie and Jen desire that Jesus Christ be known and glorified, His Word faithfully taught, and His people lovingly shepherded in every season of ministry.
